High Calcium Hardness (CH) Advice

Below is an example of a CH advice message you may receive after your TEST results are analyzed:

"Your measured calcium hardness (CH) is %CHmeas and is too high. Dilute/replace %drain gallons of pool water".

High CH can precipitate scale. Keep CH at the appropriate level for balanced pool water.

Below is an example of a Target CH advice message you may receive after your TEST results are analyzed:

"Your Target CH is %CHtarg"

• Target CH level is dependent on your pH, total alkalinity (TA), cyanuric acid (CYA) levels and on water temperature.
• CH rises from evaporation and refill with high hardness water or from use of Cal-Hypo chlorine.
