How accurate is the WaterGuru SENSE?

Unlike pool store test strips that can vary in accuracy, the FC and pH test pads that the WaterGuru SENSE uses in the SENSE S1 and S2, provide very accurate FC and pH chemical readings that are matched against the accuracy of the highly rated Taylor Test kit K1515A.  The Taylor Test kit K1515A is available from Amazon for about $35.  

FC and pH Readings - Ranges and Accuracy:

• FC- Range: 1ppm-10ppm with an accuracy of between +/- 0.5ppm
• pH - Range: 7.0 - 8.0 units with an accuracy of between +/- 0.2 units
• ppm = Parts per million

TA, CY and CYA Readings

• While our FC and pH pads use custom WaterGuru proprietary chemistry, the new TA and CH pads we are using are currently unmodified, direct from the Test Strip manufacturers, while the CYA pad is a hybrid.
• We are continuing to improve the algorithms for the CYA, TA and CH pads as well as making continued improvements to the pads and pad manufacturing process.
