How much does the WaterGuru SENSE cost to operate per year?

The operational cost of the WaterGuru SENSE will depend on how many months you operate your pool and the cassette type you choose to use. 

If you operate your pool seasonally the cost will be lower.  If you operate your pool year round, the cost will be higher.

SENSE S1

• Note:  SENSE S1 cassettes are no longer manufactured.  
• Effective July, 2025, SENSE S1 devices are compatible with SENSE S2 cassettes.
• Each WaterGuru SENSE C2 cassette should last about 2 months (58 days)
  • Each SENSE C2 cassette has 58 tests = 58 daily water measurement tests
• Each WaterGuru SENSE C2+ cassette should last about 2 months (64 days)
  • Each SENSE C2+ cassette has 64 tests = 64 daily water measurement tests
  • 2 months cassette life is based on normal usage of one water measurement test / day
  • Note:  If you perform additional water measurement tests, this will of course reduce the life of the cassette
• 3-Pack WaterGuru Cassettes cost either $69 or $76 on our website depending on the cassette type
  • A 3-pack of C2 or C2+ cassettes will last 6 months based on normal usage of one water measurement per day

SENSE S2 / SENSE S3

• Each WaterGuru SENSE C5 cassette should last about 1 month (29 days)
  • Each SENSE C5 cassette has 29 tests = 29 daily water measurement tests
  • 4 weeks cassette life is based on normal usage of one water measurement test / day
  • Note:  If you perform additional water measurement tests, this will of course reduce the life of the cassette
• Each WaterGuru SENSE C5+ cassette should last about 1 month (32 days)
  • Each SENSE C5+ cassette has 32 tests = 32 daily water measurement tests
  • 4 weeks cassette life is based on normal usage of one water measurement test / day
