I have a pool and a spa. Can I switch the SENSE device back and forth from the pool to the spa?

No.  You cannot switch the SENSE back and forth from the pool to the spa. You need to purchase a separate SENSE device for the other water body.

When you set up the SENSE, you set it up as either a Pool or a Spa and enter specific information about the water body.  In case you experience any issue, we monitor and diagnose any potential issues based on the configured type, either spa or pool and the associated graphs we see for all measured attributes including water chemistry parameters, water temperature and flow. If a SENSE device is moved back and forth, the graphs do not have any meaning from a support perspective, so WaterGuru would not be able to assist any such customers with potential device issues.  SENSE devices that are moved back and forth between pools to spas are not supported.

Here is some of the information required for setting up a pool:

• Total gallons
• Pool type, i.e. In ground inside / in ground outside / above ground
• Pool Construction, i.e. Plaster, vinyl liner, fiberglass
• Type of chlorine,  i.e. Trichlor pucks, Saltwater Chlorine Generator
• Type of acid, i.e. Muriatic acid, dry acid
• Etc.

The advice that the SENSE provides you is specific to the information that you entered during SENSE setup.

If you take a measurement in a spa when the SENSE has been set up as a pool, or vice versa, the Advice you are provided will not be the correct advice.
