Can I use the WaterGuru SENSE in a pool with a gutter?

The WaterGuru SENSE works best when it is in a skimmer where it can get adequate water flow.

If you have a pool without a skimmer, that has a gutter, the only solution would be to use a Float Ring and float the device in your pool.  The SENSE S2 comes with a Float Ring.  The SENSE S3 does not come with a Float Ring but it can be purchased from the WaterGuru website

With that said, you would need to ensure that the SENSE in the float ring has sufficient water flow to provide accurate readings.  Some customers tether the SENSE in the Float Ring to the corner of the pool near where the pool pump is pumping water.  

Only tether the device if the pool is used only by adults.  Tethering the SENSE to the side of the pool might present a choking hazard if the pool is used by children of any age.
