How does the WaterGuru SENSE calculate Cassette Days / Weeks Remaining?
In the WaterGuru app under Supply Levels, an indication of how many days or weeks remaining on the cassette is displayed.
The remaining "days left" or "weeks left" of the WaterGuru Cassettes is calculated based on the individual usage pattern of the SENSE owner, whether you rely only on the scheduled daily measurements or if you also perform additional ad-hoc measurements using Measure Now in the WaterGuru app.
Here is how it works.
DAILY MEASUREMENTS ONLY
- A SENSE C5 cassette has 29 measurements
- When the cassette is inserted, the supply levels in the WaterGuru app will display 100%
- After the first measurement is performed, the "Remaining Days" in the WaterGuru app will count down, and display an accurate estimate of the "Remaining Days" as the daily measurements are used.
- The SENSE C5 cassette should last 29 days if only scheduled daily measurements are performed.
- NOTE: Be sure to check your skimmer occasionally to ensure that is is free from debris from trees and shrubs that could cause the SENSE to either skip a water measurement or re-try a failed water measurement. Click here for more information.
DAILY MEASUREMENTS + AD-HOC MEASUREMENTS
- A SENSE C5 cassette has 29 measurements
- If you perform Ad-Hoc water chemistry measurements using the Measure Now function in the WaterGuru app, in addition to the scheduled daily measurements, the WaterGuru App will calculate an estimate of "Remaining Days" based on your usage pattern.
- If you change your usage pattern from the behavior of your previous week, the app will adjust the days remaining accordingly as it sees your new usage pattern.
- NOTE: Be sure to check your skimmer occasionally to ensure that is is free from debris from trees and shrubs that could cause the SENSE to either skip a water measurement or re-try a failed water measurement. Click here for more information.
