If you are unable to login to your WaterGuru SENSE account and see the following error:
"There was an error attempting to authenticate. Please report it to email@example.com Invalid State". There is already user which is signed in"
This error is displayed if you change your account password on one phone or tablet running the WaterGuru App, but you or someone using your WaterGuru account login are still signed in on another phone or tablet with the old account password. Refer to the steps below to resolve
Follow these steps to resolve.
- Identify the other phone or tablet where the WaterGuru App is installed (with the old account password)
- Uninstall the WaterGuru App from the other device
- Reinstall the WaterGuru App on the other device
- Login on the other device using the new account password
Note: This error can also be displayed if you use a desktop computer to login to your WaterGuru account. If you use a desktop computer to access your WaterGuru account and can no longer remember your account password, do not follow the steps below to resolve. You must contact WaterGuru support, refer to this support article and request that your account be deleted. Higher level support will perform a "baby carriage" of your pod on the back end, disable and then delete the email account associated with your account. After that is complete, you can set up your account using a different email address.
