Why is there no advice for CYA, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness displayed in the WaterGuru app for the C5 cassette?

For the C5 cassette, we currently only display advice for pH and FC in the WaterGuru app.  The pH and FC test pads in the C5 cassettes are quite accurate which is why the corresponding Advice for each parameter is displayed in the WaterGuru App. 

We are working to improve the accuracy of the C5 test pads for CYA, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness.  When the level of accuracy for these test pads matches the level of accuracy for pH and FC, we will enable Advice for these parameters in the WaterGuru app.

How can I get accurate measurements for CYA, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness and Advice?

You can obtain reliably accurate water chemistry measurements for CYA, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness by simply requesting a WaterGuru TEST kit from the WaterGuru app.

After our in-house technicians receive and analyze your pool's water sample, you will be advised by email that the TEST results are ready, and the results will be posted to the WaterGuru app where you can view the corresponding Advice.
