I just tried a "Measure Now" which failed. The app displays "Put Unit in Water and Try Again"
If you attempt to perform a Measure Now in the WaterGuru app and the app displays "Put Unit in Water and Try Again, and the Alert "Sensor Not in Water" appears, here is what is occurring:
- When performing a Measure Now, the app checks to see if the SENSE is submerged in water.
- The SENSE has a Flow Sensor (Metal rectangle) on the side of the cassette holder suspended by a cable
- If the Flow Sensor (Metal rectangle) is not submerged in water, the measurement will fail
Here are some of the reasons why this could occur:

- Water Level in the Skimmer is too low
- When the pool's water pump is turned on and running, the water level in the skimmer may be lowered so that the Flow Sensor (Metal Triangle) is not submerged in water
- The SENSE unit itself is not in the skimmer - Pool Service personnel or family member may have removed the SENSE device to clean the skimmer
- While placing the SENSE in the skimmer, (and the Flow Sensor was not yet in the water), you tapped "Measure Now" in the app
